First Edition of Frank Herbert's Dune Messiah (first sequel to Dune) as it originally appeared, serialized, in the US science fiction magazine Galaxy. This complete 5-issue set (July to November) is rare in the United States but seems considerably harder to find in the UK. Please Note: There are two different magazines in this lot listed as "September" editions.

This is because one of the magazines (the one with space robots on the cover) is the UK printing, while the other four are American. For whatever reason, the August edition of Galaxy was published with a September heading in the UK. US July 1969 - Dune Messiah Part I. UK September 1969 (space robot cover - equivalent of US August'69) - Dune Messiah Part II. US September 1969(martians cover) - Dune Messiah Part III.

US October 1969 - Dune Messiah Part IV. US November 1969 - Dune Messiah Conclusion.

Condition of all issues is excellent with only minor aging wear. The lone exception is the spine to cover page connection on the September/Martians issue, which is about 50% loose.
