Profusely illustrated in color and bw. Original cover design by Pierre Bonnard. This issue includes all 4 of the color lithographs issued with it by Chagall, Miro, Rattner, and Klee, along with a host of color lithographs of The Indian Pantheon (six in all). Drawings by Matisse and Rembrandt, paintings by The Douanier Henri Rousseau, Pierre Bonnard, Delacroix, and more. Contributions by prominent literary figures including Rabindranath Tagore, George Bataille, Paul Valery.
