Rare, pristine copy of the magazine that launched the next era of modern skateboarding in the 1980s. We are listing 6 issues of Thrasher magazine from 1981, pulled from our archive. This was its first year of publication and it was printed as a large oversize magazine that year (10"x14"). It is very hard to find copies of this essential skate mag in such near-mint condition. Priced at current market value, but reasonable offers are considered.

Thrasher Skateboard Magazine #7, July 1981. This issue was bought in 1981 and has been sitting in drawer since then. No wrinkles, tears, marks, etc. It has some yellowing which is natural due to age of the magazine which is now over 40 years old.

This first year of Thrasher was in an oversize format and printed on newsprint, except the cover and sometimes inside cover which used a heavier stock.
