THE PLAYBOY PHILOSOPHY - Parts 1-4. ALL 4 SIGNED BY: Wayne L. A set of four staple-bound magazine-size books in fine condition. A very scarce editorial by the creator of PLAYBOY, discussing the philosophy behind his magazine and addressing his critics. A classic work from the golden days of PLAYBOY.

Part 1: (Installments 1-7) from the magazines Dec 1962 - June 1963; small tear in front cover. Part 2: (Installments 8-12) from the magazines July - Nov 1963. Part 3: (Installments 13-18) from the magazines Dec 1963 - Sept 1964. Includes a chart of'Penalties for Sex Offenses in the U. Part 4: (Installments 19-22) from the magazines Dec 1964 - Feb 1965.

And the May 1965 issue (includes an index to all 4 parts). BONUS: included is an old college term paper that was written and corrected by the owner. Small tear in Part 1 as shown in pics.

(see below for details on my gradings). NEAR MINT (NM): Looks new. VERY FINE: basically looks new, but close inspection will reveal some minor flaw such as minimal scuffing, or tiny creases on edges of cover. FINE: Very minor wear such as small creases on edge of cover or very minor scuffing, but obviously stored & handled with care.

No tears, spine is tight, inside pages are clean & undamaged. Still, spine is tight and inside pages are clean and undamaged.

VERY GOOD: The average used magazine. Minor but noticeable scuffmarks and creasing on cover, perhaps a few small tears (less than an inch) near edges. Spine may be slightly rolled from storage, but is still tight. Inside pages may have minor creasing in corners, but no real damage.

GOOD: Intact, cover is present but loose from spine. Not missing pages, but some may have come loose from spine (this will be detailed in the description above if this is the case).

All books and magazines are described as accura. There is assumed to be normal wear and tear unless otherwise noted.

Most come from a smoke free home but there are some that are obtained from estate sales. If there is a notable odor or texture, I will note it in the description. If you have any questions, please ask before purchasing.
