Incredible run of this Weird Menace pulp as it was at the height of its popularity in the fifth year of publication.

The covers are brutal with scenes of torture including hot pokers, exsanguination, auger drills, whips, and other such horrors. Would continue publication as one of the flagships of the shudder subgenre until 1941 when censorship backlash and public outrcry against these kinds of pulps reached a breaking point, bringing an end to their short tenure in horror magazines.
