Please see our scans of actual book you will receive. The character Druuna, by an editorial-astral coincidence, sees the light under the constellation of Virgo. The apocalyptic beginnings of technological fantasy amalgamated with unbridled sex, took place with this zodiac sign in September 1985, in France, in the magazine Charlie mensuel of Editions Dargaud.

The Morbus Gravis cycle - unraveled in six episodes - immediately aroused the enthusiasm of readers. The magazine decides, at the publication of the second episode, to dedicate an allusive cover to Druuna, presenting it as L'événement BD: she, in the foreground, the corner of the eye that seems to control the observer, grabs a piece of cloth with her teeth swollen white, already firmly clawed with his left hand. Another one follows shortly thereafter, signifying that the opulent Druuna "pulls". Until the publication with a beating drum and in a single volume in the Histoires fantastiques series of the complete saga.

These are the last fires of the French monthly which, in order to survive, in February 1986, is incorporated by the other classic magazine of Dargaud, Pilote, taking on the title Pilote et Charlie with the intention of involving as many readers as possible. In the summer of 1986, the American quarterly Heavy Metal printed his first adventure, albeit with some censorial hesitation, given the prowess of the heroine and the rough situations in which he gets himself. The subsequent stories will continue to be published until the suspension of the publication in 2003.

In January 1987 the following Morbus Gravis 2 arrives on the pages of Pilot et Charlie with the announcement on the cover Druuna est de retour which will temporarily stop the bleeding of buyers. Once this cycle is also finished, the seven episodes will be collected in September of the same year, in the hardcover entitled Druuna. In Italy, the author's magazine L'Eternauta of the Edizioni Produzioni Cartoons will present, for the first time, since December 1985, Serpieri's work divided into eight episodes.
