The Morbus Gravis cycle - unraveled in six episodes - immediately aroused the enthusiasm of readers. The magazine decides, at the publication of the second episode, to dedicate an allusive cover to Druuna, presenting it as L'événement BD: she, in the foreground, the corner of the eye that seems to control the observer, grabs a piece of cloth with her teeth swollen white, already firmly clawed with his left hand. Another one follows shortly thereafter, signifying that the opulent Druuna "pulls". These are the last fires of the French monthly which, in order to survive, in February 1986, is incorporated by the other classic magazine of Dargaud, Pilote, taking on the title Pilote et Charlie with the intention of involving as many readers as possible. In Italy, the author's magazine L'Eternauta of the Edizioni Produzioni Cartoons will present, for the first time, since December 1985, Serpieri's work divided into eight episodes.
