Published by Dyas Department Store (7th and Olive, Los Angeles). Magazine for young girls whose parents shopped at the Ruffles Shop on the Fourth Floor of the B. DYAS DEPARMENT STORE, Los Angeles, California.

Ruffles was a rag doll who took her owner on various adventures. This issue features a Good ol Schoolhouse, Running for President (Ruffles, China Cat, or Sir Star), the story of China Cat's Life, China Cat and Ruffles sneaking in to see a movie featuring Mickey Mouse and getting escorted out by the usher (there is an illustration of Calico Cat shaking hands with Mickey Mouse), Do You Have an Ideal Girl? DYAS was originally a sporting goods store with two locations--one at Hollywood and Vine (which later became a Broadway Department Store) and Seventh and Olive, Los Angeles. The 7th and Olive store went into receivership in 1932 and closed in 1933.
