One has only John Kennedy Jr on the cover and the other two have John Jr and his wife Carolyn Bessette. March 20 1989 New York Magazine John Jr Cover John Jr was 28 years old when this magazine was published, and it is heartbreaking to know that in another 10 years he would be gone.

During this 10 years he started George magazine, and married but all of that would be gone too. It is almost 26 years ago that he, his wife, and her sister would perish in a tragic airplane accident. Article inside this magazine is titled "Favorite Son", by Michael Gross. The only son of our 35th President, is a normal guy. Though he's spent his entire life in the public eye, he has not sought the attention.

Finally, last summer, he has his political coming-out party when he addressed the Democratic National Convention. After he graduates from the NYU School of Law in May, Kennedy, who's already worked for a New York State Agency, as well as the Justice Department.
