Playboy December 1953 January 1954 Volume 1 Number 1 And Number 2 Marilyn Monroe

  
Here are the two rarest Playboys ever published. December 1953, Volume 1 Number 1, the Marilyn Monroe centerfold issue and January 1954 the second issue. The first issue is intact with the exception of the front cover is missing, the back cover is included but not attached. It has a strong attached centerfold in great condition. The second issue, both the front and back are there but unattached. Pages 23 to 28 are unattached and 29 and 30 are missing. Over the years many of these 1950's Playboys have been up for sale and this practice continued through the 50's. I have never seen a newsstand issue from the 60s.

Although these are damaged issues at least you can complete your collection and high grade your collection later with better issues. Also, I also have six Number 1 Volume 1 issues of Chic magazine and Celebrity Skin (3 of each) and I have some Playboy Supplements, Special Editions, some misc Playboys along with 11 High Society's that are not pictured because of the nature of the photography on the cover.
