One of a Kind Jan 1983 Muppet Magazine Premier Issue and Jane Henson's Personal Copy! This is a bound book given to Jane Henson in the first year of the magazine. It contains the January 1983 premier issue "plus", the Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter Issue of the magazine all in mint condition but bound together.

The binding has come apart in the front as you will see from the pictures. It was issued by Telepictures Publications in 1983. Telepictures produced the Muppet show at the time. Jane Henson, if you do not know was the wife of Jim Henson who died in 1993.

You may ask how did I come into possession of this? I worked in the building next to Henson Productions in NYC.

My building was where Jim Henson used to lived with the production done next door. In their backyard we would watch the production company work with the Muppets at times. This is one of the items I got to take. This is the only copy of this in the world thus if you are a collector of everything Muppets then this is as rare as you can ever get!
