October 1979 First Issue Australian Penthouse Magazine Collectors Edition

  
This is for an original October 1979 issue of Australian Penthouse magazine, which would be the first issue ever for the continent. Bob Guccione would start Penthouse magazine in England in 1965 and bring the magazine to the United States in 1969. Over the years the magazine would expand to international versions appearing in countries such as Russia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Hungary, Greece and Germany just to name a few. I believe that Australia was the third country to publish the magazine, but I could be wrong. Either way, it would be a great undertaking to try and collect each first issue from each country.

You would think there would be a universal issue published in different languages but each issue was different for each country. This one is in incredible condition with a tight gorgeous centerfold and no mailing label. A must have rarity for your international Penthouse collection.
