This is the incredible Grace Jones issue of Andy Warhol's Interview magazine. Andy Warhol and Andre Leon Talley interview Grace Jones.

Huge 7 page feature with tonnes of great photos - including a large photo of Grace body painted and sculpted by Keith Haring, and photographed by Robert Mapplethorpe! The cover and the other photos are by Gordon Munro. Grace famously insisted that ALT be heavily involved in this project with creative direction and interview.

A punky Melanie Griffith is featured with a portrait by Patrick Demarchelier. Tom Hulce feature with a portrait by Eugene Pinkowski. Rolling Stones and John Lydon advert. Vogue italia adverts x 2, one announcing the forthcoming Sting cover. 27 x 43 cm large format matt paper beautifully printed.

There is a gorgeous illustrated portrait of Bruce Springsteen by Walter Steding - half page in colour. Super rare especially in this condition. Interview magazine was founded in 1969 by Andy Warhol. The title features interviews with artists, musicians, thinkers and pop culture icons by their peers, other famous artists and celebrities.

The format was much copied and never equaled. Excellent condition very slight wear to cover see photographs of the actual magazine that you will receive!
