Huge lot of Firsts: The Book Collector's Magazine. 292 monthly issues + 3 index magazines. All issues from Volume 1, No. January, 1991 to Volume 31, No.

250+ good to excellent or better condition, 30 fair to good or better condition. 10 or so in poor condition, with wrinkling and light water damage or significant creasing to cover but issue still having all print and illustrations legible. Except for a few small tears or pieces missing at cover edges, no torn pages. Volumes 1-2: 12 issues per volume: 24 issues.

Volumes 3-10: 11 issues per volume: 88 July/August combined as 1 issue. Volumes 11-23: 10 issues per volume 130 No July or August magazines issued. Volumes 24: 8 issues 8. Volume 25-31: 6 issues 42 Magazines issued every other month. Total Weight: Approximately 125 pounds.

Some soiling at back cover edges... Particularly in Volumes 1 through 7... Some creased corners and a little wrinkling, but nothing significant until Vol. 29, #'s 1/2, 9/10, 11/12 are fair to good. Other three are poor to fair with 5/6 being in worst condition.

Ironic that the issues in poorest condition are some of the newer ones. Photos 1 and 2 show the fronts of the first issue for each year. Photo 3 show them all stacked up. Photos 4 -15 illustrate the general overall condition of vast majority of the magazines. Wrinkled, some light water damage, creases, etc...

Magazines considered in poor condition. Photos 21-23 illustrate some creasing, soiling, small tears that occur in a few of the magazines considered in poor condition. Photo 24 shows the soiling, wear on back cover edges on most of the magazines in Volumes 1 through Volume 7.

I didn't consider this back cover wear to be too significant. The magazines with obvious imperfections are most are pictured in photos 16-23. 11 Goldfinger has scuffed/white paper attached to front cover Photo 16. 2 Great Gatsby has wrinkling. 7 All Quiet on the Western Front has some wrinkling and a small bottom edge tear...

5 Cannery Row has some wrinkling and water damage. 7 Son of Morning Star has some wrinkling and water damage.

1 Stange Interlude, Closed tear at top left corner of front cover, creasing. Tempted to keep them and read one a day for most of next year, but I'm downsizing rather than expanding.. Each issue full of information of value to book sellers or collectors. Please view photos to judge content and condition.
