While working for FORTUNE magazine, she went to Russia in 1930 to document Stalin's Five Year Plan to industrialize the country. Bourke-White would go on to work for LIFE magazine and produce remarkable images of the Great Depression and World War ll. With forty revealing black and white photographs.
