Original cover artwork print for short-lived art and fashion magazine Main. The cover art was created by David Hockney especially for MAIN. It consists of four separate plates produced on an office copy machine and then printed by George Rice & Sons. It is not a reproduction of an existing work of art.

The cover itself is the limited edition of a special David Hockney print. Magazine approx size: 28 x 42cm.

The cover is printed on a textured paper, different to the rest of the magazine. The rear cover shows Hockney working on ideas for the cover artwork. Very good condition, tanned to extremities, spotting, some wear to bottom of spine. Please look at all the photos to see the condition.
