The ENTIRE production run (24 issues) of. "The Car magazine of the British Leyland Motor Corporation Limited".

HIGH ROAD was the first British Leyland magazine that was on general sale to the public. These belonged to the general editor of High Road and were recently discovered. Due to company difficulties of the time British Leyland produced HIGH ROAD for only two years.

Jan 1969 to Dec 1970. You may be forgiven for thinking High Road was just about BL vehicles but in fact the magazine was very diversified. It contained articles on their new and old vehicles, sales promotions & staff.

The factories, how things were made, new technology. Looked back into the past motoring activities and into the future! After sales information, technical back up. Motor Sport, Rally events, Special Tuning. Brooklands Dolphin Boats, (I didn't realise BL were associated but there are quite a few articles).

Lots of travel and leisure topics. A huge content each month and even the many product advertising pages warrant a good read. These have been tucked away in a pile and left alone in an office for many years.
