This is a group of very rare baseball Treasures the memorabilia featured include the world's oldest ball Circa 1859 two bats. One is from year 1867 the second was made in 1869 of Redwood to commemorate the hundred consecutive winning record of the Cincinnati Red stockings. A 1840 style uniform and an 1860s catchers mask in early 1880s baseball cap and shoes. The earliest known baseball glove 1840.
By the 1870s a small amount of padding had been added and by the 1880s heavier pads and full fingers appeared. The last name of the star players appear at each position.
The Zimmer game was made in 1893 this is the rarest of treasures the world's most famous baseball card the 1909 Honus Wagner card owned by Mr BarryHalper. This is a certified first edition print from the original negative. Photograph taken by renowned former life magazine Henry Graskinsky.
