This is a very RARE Antonio Lopez Double sided COVER for AMERICAN FABRICS & FASHIONS magazine! It's a larger format, 36.5 cm tall x 27 cm wide larger format Fabrics magazine.

This was their 40th anniversary edition and they commissioned the great Lopez for a special commission of front and back cover. Marc Jacobs the young star,'Enfant terrible on 7th Avenue' on the rise - a profile of a young Marc Jacobs with portraits and his illustrations. 4 large format pages of Jacobs illustrations. Balenciaga fashion illustrations by Michael Diamond 4 pages - an FIT exhibition of Balenciaga.

The editors intro pages has a grid of 40 iconic covers from their history. Classic 1980's American Fabrics & Fashions. An exceptional find, very uncommon! Very good condition with light wear to the outside covers.
