Rare UK ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE 6th December 1973 - issue No 149. This is a rare UK edition from 1973 - The UK version of Rolling Stone has different editorial and advertising content.
Also making this a rare collectors item; the UK version did not have as a big a circulation as its US parent. This is the much sought after Allman Brothers issue with their story inside and a fantastic double page centre spread. The incredible cover illustration is by Gilbert Stone. Mick Rock writes about this rare TV special filmed at The Marquee in London.
There is also a photo of Bowie by Mick Rock - The Show also includes Marianne Faithfull and the Troggs! It's a great feature taking up most of a page with quotes from Bowie and even includes a jockstrap accident onstage as detailed by Rock. The back cover is a full page ad for Black Sabbath's album Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. Larger format close to A3. These older copies have light mottling on the cover from age please see photos. The paper used for old Rolling Stones and NME's often discoloured. The photographs are from the actual magazine that you will receive; we don't use stock images.
