This is the scarce, true debut issue produced by controversial New York photographer Jonathan Leder (photography & direction) with creative direction from Danielle Leder, featuring content including Paz de la Huerta. I was the Head Writer for this magazine and authored the editorial Rape of the Taxpayer.
It's a piece of independent art/fashion/photography history from a very short-lived, cult-favorite magazine. Condition: Pristine and untouched - stored in its original plastic wrapping since 2009, kept dry, cool, and out of direct sunlight. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better-preserved example anywhere. Jacques was a limited-run project with a distinctive, edgy aesthetic. True first editions like this rarely surface, especially sealed. Perfect for collectors of Jonathan Leder's work, indie magazines, photography zines, or Paz de la Huerta memorabilia. Message me with any questions - happy to send more detailed photos!Just don't ask me to open the plastic wrapper! Thanks for looking-this one's special.
