To the first issue opens with a statement by the Company's Chairman Charles Hussey, and with editorial notes explaining the origins and purpose of the magazine, being to "bring together information likely to be of interest to the Workmen and Staff with regard to Co-Partnership, the Gas Industry, and the Local Matters in general, and the operation of the various Departments, the activities of the Clubs, and the working of our own Co-Partnership Scheme in particular".

With rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Pages are bright and clean, with really only minor offsetting to the endpapers. Fine - Very well preserved copy showing very little wear. Only one or two minor faults, really a very attractive copy.
