Original volume in like-new binding. Containing the months of January to December (633 numbered pages) plus Preface, Supplement of 1762, and Index.

Most monthly issues contains a list of articles, maps, and plates, plus Meteorological Diary, Review of New Publications, Selected Poetry, register of births, marriages, and deaths of eminent persons, daily variations in the prices of stocks, medical, health, and science articles, and many fascinating historical articles. A very strong and tight copy. Like-new rebound dark green cloth-covered boards with bright gilt lettering on spine.

Original contents in good clean condition with normal age toning/browning to pages and minor scattered light foxing. Index is listed from A to V only, missing remainder pages of Index. There is one page in front of volume and two pages in Index at rear of volume that required a thin laminate sheet in order to be attached to book during the binding process (by the binding company). These pages are slightly darker in color but do not distract from the overall condition of the book. PLAN OF GIBRALTAR (foldout map). A MAP OF THE KINGDOM OF PORTUGAL (foldout).
