Amazing lot of 127 volumes of Record Research magazine spanning the years 1960 - 1983, consisting of Issue 27 through Issue 203/204 (many are double issues). The issues that are missing from the complete series are 30, 31, 33, 39, 43, 48, 49, 57, 60, 94, and 183/184. These 167 issues / 127 magazines contain absolutely priceless information on American music that does not exist on the internet.

From blues to jazz to hillbilly to folk to early recordings and festivals, it's all here in this important source collection of American history. Each magazine is about 8 1/2" x 11" (the sizes vary slightly) and about 20 double-sided pages, some more, some less. Some are heavier paper, others are newsprint.

Great condition with only minor dog-earing on some. The paper is still supple and not brittle. There are no tears or folded pages, no handwriting, no smell of mildew. A museum-quality assembly of research information. It's an outstanding addition to any collection or library.
