Amazing opportunity for an investor or collector. EVERY ORIGINAL Playboy magazine from the 1950s. New to the market from a long time collector, this is a rare opportunity to own the first issue of Playboy from December 1953 featuring Marilyn Monroe and all the issues from the 1950s. All magazines are complete with centerfolds. In my conservative opinion, all are in collectors grade of very good.

It is a very consistent collection in terms of condition. Sent in #1 and #2 and received the first two issues back from CGC. #V1 #1 Marilyn issue was graded 4.5 and #2 was graded 4.0. Off white to white pages.

All complete magazines with centerfolds. In my opinion, they all fall in the CGC 4-6 range judging by the other 2 graded ones. Usual corner wear but no major rips or tears. Like many collectors back in the day, they wrote the year or volume number on the cover. #1 has NOV 12 1 printed in black ink on front. Centerfold in March issue is separated from staples but beautiful. Back upper left hand corner of July issue is torn off. 54 is written in pencil above the B on the front cover of the September issue. 285.51 is written in ink on the back of the October issue. 1954 V2 #1 is written in pencil above Anniversary on the December 1954 issue. Vol #2 #2 has "2" written in pencil in the O of Playboy on cover. 2 (small) written on page 3 top right corner.

Letter "P" written on arm of cover in Vol 2 #7. "55" is written very small above December on cover of Vol 2 #12. "1956 vol 3 #1" (small) written on cover of Vol 3 #1. "1956" written on cover of Vol 3 #7. There are 3 little pen dots written on the "Y" of Vol 3 #10.

"56" written under December on Vol 3 #12. 57 is written on Vol 4 #5. "1957 V4 #7" written on cover of Vol #7. "4" written in Y of Playboy on Vol 4 #10. "58" written on Vol 5 #5 cover and staining on bottom of pages 2-15.

"58" written on cover of Vol 5 #7. "5" written on cover of Vol 5 #10. "6" is written in the Y on the covers of Vol 6 #1, #2, and #3. I took pictures of the some of the flaws I just described. There is no large writing.
