Totally original EIGHTH issue of ONE MAGAZINE: The Homosexual Viewpoint [I'm thinking the publisher's added that italicized sub-title to the magazine at a later date]. Volume 1 Number 8, August, 1953. Los Angeles, California: One Inc. 1953; with 24 pages + original stiffer printed paper covers. Finished size is 6x7 inches = opens up to 12x7 inches for perusal.

This issue still has the original subscription coupon bound in. Just a few sort of generic line drawing illustrations.

This issue vehemently attacks the so-called men's PHYSIQUE MAGAZINES that were beginning to proliferate within the gay male community at the time ;. (but mostly devoted to gay males). Rights, political, scientific & literary magazine issued nearly 70 years ago - long before Stonewall was even thought of!
