Interview magazine was founded in 1969 by Andy Warhol. Nicknamed "The Crystal Ball of Pop", it features interviews with artists, musicians, thinkers and pop culture icons. In May 2018 Interview announced it was to cease publishing. This early issue features Andy Warhol (donning a Santa Claus hat for Christmas and holding a camera that he is pointing at his muse) and model Naomi Sims on the cover, photographed by Berry Berenson. The first photograph of our listing shows the magazine folded and sealed in a plastic mylar archive sleeve. The last photograph shows the full image when the magazine is unfolded.
