The Englishwoman's Domestic Magazine. Beeton; undated but illustrated plates are dated 1860. Four volume complete set, bound as two. Beautiful full leather bindings with elaborate gilt decoration, marbled end papers and marbled fore-edges. Light shelf wear for age; binding is tight and square, pages are bright. Some light spotting throughout; the flyleaf and front end paper of the second volume is loose. Illustrated with numerous full page, hand colored plates and woodcuts among text. Volume two does not have plates. Overall a wonderful set of antique books!
